Sorry that you have to read in English, which is the first requirement to be a candidate in my list. I don't mean to show off my English level. The truth is that I am very bad at Chinese typing. Even an elementary school kid can type faster than i do. So I have to and will write in English no mater what you think and what you say. Well, since most of the HZ BBS members are college graduates, I suppose that you can read some English, or what did you do during your college years?
I also want to apologize for the title of this post. It makes me look too materialized. Haha, I just wanted to make some fun. I wanted to see how many of you would be attracted here.
OK, here we go. After glacing over many posts, I feel much confident about myself . So who am I?
I am OopsWrongPlace, a moderator of English Time of Hangzhou BBS. Have you ever been there? If not, you should. English Time is one of the few, if not the only, forum in Hangzhou BBS which has real high quality of postings. I am proud of myself to be one of the moderators. I am a celebrity there, well, sort of since I have been there long enough. Oh, by the way, don't just go there and tell them i am here since they might think I am betraying them once they find out I am also posting in other places.
I have a Ph.D degree ( am I the only nerdy here ?) earned from a well-known university in US. I am currently working in a major medical company in US, holding a mid level management position. I don't want to tell you how much I am making since I don't want to embarass others. Of course, I make more and spend more. Do I have a big house and a nice car? Sure, I have. I have been driving SUVs for many years. I was among the first gruop of people who drove SUVs in US. But I don't have anything in Hanghzou though I d like to have a property in this beautiful city in the future. I am tall enough, around 1.80 m. Why do I say around 1.8m. I often found myself 1.805 in the morning and 1.795 in the evening. So I call myself 1.8m man. Again, you want to find more about me, please go to English Time, where I told a lot about myself in my flagship post "Views from Ordinary Americans".
What do I expect from you? haha, to be honest , I don't have any specific standards in my mind. It is all up to you. If you think you are "qualified", send me a message and we will go from there :)
Oh, I almost forget to tell you that I am also a native Hangzhou. But I don't mind where you come from. Ready to send me a message?

Attention Please, I will be starting my three weeks personal vacation on June 26, during which I will only have limitted access to Hangzhou BBS, and hence won't be able to answer your questions and messages. I will be back to HZ BBS after mid July. After that, I will continue to reply to you. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Have a very COOL summer !
By the way, I will be walking around West Lake everyday. So if you want to see how I look like, go to the West Lake and you might meet me. Here are some hints for you to find me:
1. I am not short, as you already know.
2. I like to wear t-shirts, I am a big fan of the brand names Nautica and Ralph Lauren. What shoes do I wear? most of time, a pair of Nike.
3. I may look like a tourist :) I won' t speak Hangzhou dialect. On Sunday, I might go to one of the English Corners in Hangzhou, so the one who speaks best English must be me :)
